Open Editions was founded in 2015 as a collaboration between artist Lauren DiCioccio and designer Braden Weeks Earp, with the goal of creating designs that bring art into your everyday life. Inspired by San Francisco’s pioneering 2007 plastic bag ban, the brand's embroidered taffeta totes are locally crafted from recycled materials and are designed to echo a single-use plastic bag—a thoughtful reminder to reuse and recycle.
